Procedure: Blepharoplasty - Eyelid Lift/ Tuck
Blepharoplasty surgery, commonly referred to as an eyelid-tuck, is a surgical procedure to correct the appearance of the upper and/or lower eyelids by removing the excess skin, tightening the muscles and sometimes removing excessive fat pads, or “bags” under the eyes.
Blepharoplasty is an outpatient surgery that takes place either in a hospital setting under light sedation or in the office operating area with a local Novocain-type anesthesia and takes about 1.5 hours. The incision is made along the natural crease of the upper eyelid or along the lash line of the lower eyelids and are very inconspicuous.
